John grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois and graduated from Northland College in Ashland. His first job in the financial industry was at a downtown Chicago municipal bond firm. In 1984 John decided to quit the big city and moved back to Ashland where he established his own financial planning firm as a financial representative. In 1986 John and brother Mike established Fiorio Brothers Investment Center in a small office on Main Street in Ashland.
In his spare time John enjoys motorcycling, snowmobiling, golfing and working on his homestead south of Ashland.
John is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, and is general securities registered and insurance licensed. John is also a graduate of the College for Financial Planning's CFP® Professional Education Program.
