Mike, along with younger brother John, grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois. After graduation from, and working for, Northland College, Mike moved to Bemidji, Minnesota where he worked as an independent financial represenative for a national firm. In 1986 he returned to Ashland to establish Fiorio Brothers Investment Center with brother John.
Mike is the father of three children; Hanna, Lars and Reid. He enjoys fishing, cycling, hunting and, like his brother, also enjoys working his homestead south of Ashland.
Mike is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, and is general securities registered and insurance licensed. Mike is also a graduate of the College for Financial Planning's CFP® Professional Education Program.
